Getting started
Create an account, connect a model provider, create a project, submit your first requirement and review the result.
Create an account
Open the workbench and choose Create an account. Pick any account name (it does not have to be an email address) and a password. Account names are not case-sensitive.
Password reset is not available during Beta. Store your password in a password manager.
After signing up you land in your personal workspace. Everything you create belongs to that workspace until you join or switch to another one.
Connect a model provider
The project agent needs a model. Gendora uses your own provider account, so model usage is billed by your provider.
- 1Open Model providers in the sidebar and choose Add provider.
- 2Pick the type (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenAI-compatible API or Ollama), give it a name, and check the base URL.
- 3Paste your API key if the provider needs one. It is stored encrypted and only shown masked.
- 4Add the provider. Gendora tests the connection and fetches the list of available models.
- 5Under Role assignments, choose a provider and model for the Main role and save. Other roles use the main model until you assign them.
See Connecting model providers for details on each provider type.
Create a project
Open Projects, enter a project name and an optional description, and choose New project. Each project gets its own agent, knowledge and deliverables.
New projects use the Product requirements Harness, which produces a PRD and an interactive HTML prototype. You can choose a different Harness in the project’s Settings tab.
Submit your first requirement
- 1Open the project’s Work tab.
- 2Enter a short title, for example “Filter notes by tag”.
- 3Describe what to build, who it is for and any constraints. Write in any language; the deliverables will use the same language.
- 4Choose Send to project agent.
The task appears in the Tasks list and its steps update live: understand the requirement, plan the steps, write the PRD, build the HTML prototype, machine check, and collect deliverables for review. The run bar at the top of every page shows that the project is running.
Review the result
When the deliverables pass their machine checks, the task moves to Waiting for my review in your inbox.
- Read the PRD and the prototype on the Work tab.
- Choose Approve to complete the task, or write a comment and choose Request changes. A comment is required to request changes.
- After a change request, resume the run; the agent revises the deliverables from your comment and they come back for review.
Approved deliverables appear in the project’s Deliverables tab with their versions, source task and review history.
